MITIGATE: In the unavoidable scenario where one cell is punctured, the Direct Thermal Management System rapidly extracts Heat from the Source Cell and rejects it externally as Mild Smoke within 5 seconds. Thermal Propagation & External Vehicle Fires are always avoided and Cell Failure is contained within the Pack.
The Dual Compression Sealing System ensures no Water or Dust Ingress into the Battery under the harshest conditions. Multiple Batteries have been subjected to submersion of 1.5 m for over 24 hours with no issues.
The Internal Cell Modules are mounted to an Aluminum Housing using a Patented 6D Suspension System that isolates & dampens any impact or loads onto the Battery Pack. This ensures the Battery can survive ‘n’ Number of 3 meter Drops.
EMO’s cell fusing technology allows cell and module level protection against any external or internal short circuit. The ultrasonically bonded wires are designed for up to 4C Continuous current and sacrificially melt if the cell level current draw exceeds a specified safe limit.
